Import YouTube

Import YouTube videos into NotebookLM for summarization and research. You can import single videos, playlists, or extract videos from a page.

Single video

Copy the YouTube video URL and import it like any other link (popup or Batch Import).

Batch (playlist / channel)

  1. Open the extension App page: Batch Import.
  2. Go to the “YouTube” tab.
  3. Paste a playlist or channel URL.
  4. Fetch videos, select what you want, then import.

Note

Guest mode may have batch limits for YouTube fetching/import. Login removes those limits.
